They're cards for people with poor credit history, but my score is excellent.
But when I see the new Venture card it doesn't have that ability.
Also just FYI for the people who are going to cancel this card and apply for Venture X.
I saw a youtube video that some people tried to do that they got rejected.
Apparently with Capital One, you can only apply for their other venture cards after a 2 year period, if you already have their cards. Just double check on this, because you don't want your credit pulled, and then get denied.
That's odd. Maybe you've hit some kind of credit limit? When I applied for my latest Chase card, I had to shift credit limit from another card to the new one. My credit score is well above 800.
But when I see the new Venture card it doesn't have that ability.

In truth I had used the virtual card with the Spark Business account but I was seeing the option to do it with the Venture as well.
Yeah, I thought it might have been because I just got my C1 card in July, but it's been 6 months now so I should be good. Might just be a glitch in their tool. No big deal, because I don't need any more cards or credit.
Well yeah, I don't need more cards or credit either. It's the bonuses that keeps me coming back.

Asking to see if the bonus will come in the middle or at the end of a 2 month backpacking trip haha
I'll add that I applied for this card (Venture) and was denied. I'm waiting for the letter in the mail to tell me the reason why but based on other comments I'll assume it's because I have many cards open. This knocked my score down quite a bit and I'm a little annoyed at Capital One right now.
What's the process like to downgrade?
I've read that if you recently applied for their card (within 6 months), you cannot reapply (automatic rejection).
No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.

Those are the reasons I got the VX. PP works for me because I mostly fly to Asia, where the lounges tend to have more capacity. Haven't had too much luck with it in US airports.
The 300 travel credit is kind of a pain to use because almost all of my travel needs to be booked through a corporate travel portal.
