The same identical Harbor Freight jack [harborfreight.com] for $240 and jack stands [harborfreight.com] for $80 as an every day price before any sales/coupons for $320 total with both delivered for $6.99. Wait for a sale and even cheaper.
Unless you just have to have the 'Sunex' sticker on the same imported product, not really a deal, let alone a slickdeal.
The same identical Harbor Freight jack [harborfreight.com] for $240 and jack stands [harborfreight.com] for $80 as an every day price before any sales/coupons for $320 total with both delivered for $6.99. Wait for a sale and even cheaper.
Unless you just have to have the 'Sunex' sticker on the same imported product, not really a deal, let alone a slickdeal.
Perhaps you are right... the HF version is a better/beefier build with 4 anchors per trolley wheel. The rest of your post is speculating nonsense, as all of these are imported from the same Asian factory with the same internals. Change the cutout in the middle bridge, slap on some different stickers or colors and voila! Same with the jack stands.

Perhaps you are right... the HF version is a better/beefier build with 4 anchors per trolley wheel. The rest of your post is speculating nonsense, as all of these are imported from the same Asian factory with the same internals. Change the cutout in the middle bridge, slap on some different stickers or colors and voila! Same with the jack stands.
If I'm not mistaken about the jack stands, the Sunex has 4 vertical reinforcing webs while the HF has 3. That's a big difference and who knows what else is different...
Even if two widgets are made in the same factory and look very similar, there are several things that can make one better than the other. Material specifications, machining steps, finishing, and QC checks can make a huge difference in the final quality, reliability, and longevity of a product - even if they look the same.
Is the HF jack even ASME certified?
If I'm not mistaken about the jack stands, the Sunex has 4 vertical reinforcing webs while the HF has 3. That's a big difference and who knows what else is different...
