It's CPS, not square trade. It's already adding to the cart and it also mentions it covers burn in.
Thanks for the correction

I think I'm gonna jump on that 65 inch. Been wanting an LG OLED for a while now. I have the Sony X900F, and it's been a good TV. Picture is nice overall, but the blooming can get ugly unless you;re sitting directly in front of the screen. Also, I have a Series X and PS5 now, so the extra gaming features would be nice. My one concern is with brightness in the day time. We don't get direct sunlight in the house, but the windows can let a bit of light in.
The brightness issues are honestly overstated. My parents have the CX in the living room in front of the house with a massive window and I've never felt like it was "dim" so I can only imagine the C1 is brighter

Looking at the size of the images-- and the fact we didn't see a box but only the receipt-- it looks like people were buying the displays NOT new tvs. OLED screen hours are numbered so those tvs are more than likely to have issues
I bought a display LG OLED 55 E8 and it was a great deal because it was dirt cheap (under $1000) and still sold under warranty. Haven't had any problems with it, either. Just saying.

Shows you just how insane that unicorn target deal was...
Wasn't a deal because virtually nobody got them on the forum thread and those who did happened to be on the right place at the right time, you had similar odds of winning the lotto

Not sure the comps, but my local Costco had asterisk price on 2021 model LG oLED 65" oled65a1aua on sale for $1349.99 - which sounded like a good deal. I think some other perks thrown in too

Asterisk just means it's not being reordered. Which makes sense as it's last year's model.

I would take a neo qled 85 or 90 instead of this one... I will never rest knowing about burn in problem.
Having said that... I just have the Q8... Beautiful tv so fancy looking

You talked me into it, slickdeals! I was getting an OLED this weekend no matter what...glad to have the warranty included for free. The gift card, sure why not.

Upgrading from a 55" TCL 4 series picked up for $319 during a Target deal four years ago.

Thanks, OP!

$1597 is a good price, but I don't remember when the 65" was being sold for $2799, even when new. I bought mine just at under $2000 new in August '21. I'm guessing $2799 might be for the 77". Oh, and the $2799 price is listed on the mobile app, don't see it on the web app.

Then you haven't fully looked into the "burn in problem". It's literally not a thing anymore unless you play the same game over and over or watch the same TV station with a static image.
