That reminds me of:

When I was about 20 we had this annoying neighbor who would show up at all times day and night looking for rides to random places. She walked into my apartment, without knocking (her status quo), then proceeded to ask my roommates and me, one at a time, if we were too drunk to drive her somewhere. When she finally got to me I answered: "Leslie, it is 1AM, you have 3 grown men wearing boxers, surrounded by empty beer cans, watching the Spice Girl movie, and I am sharpening a katana....OF COURSE WE ARE F***ING DRUNK."

Needless to say she sat down then watched the rest of the Spice Girls movie with us.

why unless your a ninja and have been trained with a sward your going to end up hurting your self more then who ever brakes into your house at night. indoor there is not a lot of room to swing a sward around. think about the real world real life use of your home defense weapon. plus its never good to bring a sward to a gun fight.

I have one of those Stanley sledgehammer/crowbar combo things under my bed and a Mossberg next to it. The sword is just there cause I'm messy and also have no where else to put it. Also, thrusting then twisting would be a lot more effective than swinging in a home invasion situation
