so total comes out to be
799(unlocked) - 300(XR trade in) + tax..
am I doing something wrong? 😩

Once she was able to confirm the $450, I asked if I could get the Z Flip3 $499 T-Mobile deal instead of the unlocked version. She said I can't, and can only get one promo. I asked if it would give me a gift card, and she said yes.
Once she looked at the options when making the purchase, she said that after looking at it, I could get the T-Mobile version for $499. She rang me up, and after taxes, my total was $86.
This is definitely a slick deal. I can now trade the Z Flip3 for $800 towards a S22U.
Heck, even the Brave browser has integrated FREE video conferencing with up to 4 people.
A for iMessage, AirTags, and your naked selfies on iCloud, I can't help you there. I think there's an alternative to AirTags for Android, but I don't use them, so IDK. I think the Apple store is more secure, but I think some apps are lacking also. I love my Calendar Alarm on Android that interfaces with Google calendar. I just got an iPhone from work and no such app I could find...bummer.

Android flexibility is amazing, from free apps to excellent notifications, multi-window app switching, google apps, 4k screens and multiple size options along with even ultimate multitask capability like note devices. Keyboard choices voice recognition is one of the features that Apple won't match any time soon. Native call recording, rooting and changing network bands and forcing the phone to connect specific tower or network, basically unlimited customization.
G1 was my first smartphone, then Nexus One, Even 4g, Evo 3D, HTC M One, S3, basically I was getting the best android flagship every year, my last android phone is the S22 Ultra which replaced my old FOLD 3.
...... With all that said I finally switched to IOS and Iphone. It's one of my saddest day. There's no operating system that I hate more than Apple. It's just bad and crazy.
let me give you easy example, I recorded some videos with my iPhone 13 pro max and I wanted to transfer these videos to my PC, guess what, it was almost impossible, it will take hours and hours and hours. 120 GB videos to couple hours, on the other hand my guess how long S22 ultra transferred these videos??? unded 1 minutes!!!
Iphone don't have USB C and if you record high quality videos lighting cable will take forever and the alternative option is basically wirelessly and that will take even more time.
Using IOS is pain, almost no contamazation whatsoever. I've been using Swifty Key keypoard for my entire life and Apple won't allow me use the keyboard as the main one because that's what apple does. Basically it's a locked system, it's a beautiful girl who can only stay in her house unless her family members are with her, she can't go outside alone.
These are the reasons that I ended up switching to IOS.
1- Imessage:- it's so important that it will effect even my work. Our manager and the owner of the company always text us, if one of us is using an android phone then Apple changes the entire experience of the group message, now saddently you can't react, you can't like, you can't receive big or even medium files and videos, basically it's a useless service and everyone in the group will hate you, basically they will remove me from the list eventually. That's the reason Google and other carriers are fighting with Apple to join the RC.... I don't have the full name but basically it's a universal massaging app which gives the same experience on all parts but apple declined it.
2- Social Media apps:- almost all of them don't use android cameras, Samsung and Google said they fixed it but that's not true, I got the Pixel and the S22 and yes I can confirm that they didn't fix anything. Iphone is still the king of this department. If you use social media a lot then unfortunately you don't have a choice.
3- Battery life and screen brightness:- I could actually live with these but all S22U and FOLD3 and Pixel 6pro had terrible battery life, also screen brightness changes sometimes without your adjustment, it's either too bright or too dim, Iphone's brightness is unmatched. I've never needed to adjust it wether I'm outside or indoor.
4- App quality and features:- Both android and IOS have almost every possible app, but the problem android is facing is that apps are not as reliable as IOS. Appls show notifications even after you clear those notifications, apps send multiple notifications for the same item even after you clear it or sometimes don't even show the notifications unless you refresh the app. Features like E-sim is good on Iphone, almost all android phones have very unreliable esim managment.
Samsung had the killer Samsung pay feature but they discontinued and now they offer android pay which is not as good as Apple pay.
Yes, I'm still in love with android, I still prefer the android world but due to those issues, I have no choice but to keep using Iphone. Sad.....

I couldn't care less about iMessage / FaceTime and other apps. But the typing (which I do a ton) is what keeps me from going to Android phones. Somehow iOS feels so much more natural.
