That sounds like a lot of work! And you have to use Facebook. No thanks.

Probably because it's a complete pain in the ass to meet someone to do the exchange for $10. Not sure what your time is worth

The hedge trimmer is one of the best tools they make.

Ugh, all I wanted was the dual high/low inflator but it's not on the list. Oh well.
Get the 250 blower instead and return it, for $10 more, still not bad.

So I briefly price compared the battery 2-pack and the 1/2" hammer drill/driver sold on Amazon. $150. Of course Amazon advertises the drill at 38% OFF as if we're getting a good deal.

All I can say is anything I can buy elsewhere for cheaper, and 50% less at that, is another middle finger I can give Amazon and it feels so damn good.
I mean, Amazon isn't an authorized Ryobi dealer,so any listings you see on their "marketplace" are from third party resellers.

It works on all the items pictured. Simply add the batteries to your cart. Then look for the "free" tool from the picture that you want. Add that tool to your cart and the prices should adjust in your cart. It did for me with the hedge trimmer. Made both the tool and the batteries $49.50 each. I hope this helps.
I just bought the hedge trimmer too. I've been thinking about getting it for a few days. What a deal!

It doesn't stop Amazon from taking a cut now does it?

It's well worth it. I've cut everything from small saplings to 5-6" diameter branches with it, it works wonderfully.
So we be pruning saw or the regular saw, which is a better buy if pruning trees is not the only thing you want to buy it for, but other cutting too.. will the regular saw cut small metal items?

I assume they both take different blades?

For those who have the multi tool, do you get a lot of use out if it? Any specific situations where they were useful and other tools couldn't serve the purpose?

Is that supposed to be part of the sale? It doesn't work for me.

I got it from a past Ryobi days sale but ended up returning it due to the lack of an oiler. I noticed that the 10" HP version [homedepot.com] is part of the $200 HP sale and would bring the saw to $88 if you could do the "hack" (it's not working for me"

are we saying hack is still a hit or a miss if you return part of the order?
