That sounds like a lot of work! And you have to use Facebook. No thanks.

Probably because it's a complete pain in the ass to meet someone to do the exchange for $10. Not sure what your time is worth

I should have jumped on the DTO deals at the beginning of the month. Everything was so much cheaper then but I thought Home Depot was going to have a better sale this year. Hopefully DTO will have another 40% sale at some point.
Why did you think they'd have a better sale? I knew about ryobi days.. but didn't think HD would be better. We're about 3 weeks past the sales and a lot of us are still waiting for orders to be shipped since they're so backed up. I think Someone said they had close to a million orders in those 4 days.

I finally bit on buying the edger for cutting some bushes. I just realized however that the batteries that came with the deal are not the One+ HP type like my others.

Are these non-HP batteries a serious downgrade compared to the HP batteries, or still a fairly good value at two for $50?

Two regular 4Ah batteries, charger, and free hedge trimmer for ~$100. IMO its a good deal. I got the same deal last year. And that began my journey down the Ryobi rabbit hole. Confusedlaugh out loud

Wow! EEK! My order from them has yet to ship. The only thing I heard from DT is they don't expect to have all the orders from that sale shipped out until early June.

Yeah, it is a decent deal, that is why I jumped. But I'm just wondering how these batteries in this deal compare to the Ryobi HP batteries. If they are significantly inferior, then I will flip them. If any Ryobi battery experts can chime in, I would appreciate it. TIA.

Does anyone know if the pool of tools offered with this deal changes? I'm interested in the 8 inch pruning chainsaw and it's not on the list of tools offered, however, it was offered in the deal last year at this time.

I tried adding it separately and it wouldn't combine for the deal. Frown

Thanks!

Whats the DTO deal? Is it worth waiting for it to come back vs biting on this?

A few weeks ago they had 50% off all refurbished items, then in the beginning of May they had 40% off all blemished items. They sent out emails last week stating all orders should be shipped out by June. Now it's just sporadic deals… they had a blemished 16 gauge nailer with a free sprayer and free extra tank for $69 for one day.

Was hoping for some new tools to be added in this year.

Picked up the planer as that will be useful.

Cant decide if I should get the angle grinder, corded one i had broke but the battery ones are supposed to eat through batteries, but I have alot of batteries.

I have a bunch of 4ah "regular" batteries and 3ah "HP" batteries... I haven't been able to tell any clear difference.

I may be late on this but did the price jump to $200 for anyone on this? I had one in cart earlier this week but when I logged back in today it went up.

Is it $99 2 battery and charger with the additional tool you choose, or $99 2 battery charger and tool chosen included? Doesn't seem like a deal if you have to pay for additional tool too.

I think answering my own question here but when I use the link in the deal, it shows as $200. When I used this link https://promotions.ryobitools.com...free-tool/ it worked correctly. DO NOT clink the $99 BUY NOW button but rather scroll to the free tool you want to add on and everything should add to cart correctly.
