Correct. You are. I can't believe it's been that long. It's a lna-5265f something like that. Which is still kickin ass at my parents house. Whenever I see it in person I'm still pretty blown away by the image quality. Better than the entry level Samsung 60" that I bought in 2016? Haha That one died twice

How fast are these actually shipping?
Motivating Situation: A 32" Samsung that I use in a sun room, and that I've had for about 8 years, is cooked, and I am going to replace it.
Current Inventory: I also have two 50", 720p, Panasonic Plasma's from 2009 (TC-P50X1) that are still working fine, and images look good to me (I only use them for watching tv, no gaming, no DVDs, etc.). One is in the family room, and the other is in the man cave.
Option 1 is replace the 32" with another smallish screen tv (maybe up to 50" screen). I'd probably spend $200-$400. TV use is minimal in this room, the sun room.
Option 2 is get the 65" QN90A for the family room, and take the 50" Panasonic Plasma in the family room, and put it in the sun room.
I'm loving the ridiculous reliability of the Panasonics, and the images look fine to me. But, I understand that I don't know anything better because I am accustomed to what I have. Although, I've watched more-current/modern televisions at airbnbs, and hotels, and have never come away feeling that I'm missing anything picture quality wise.
But, the reviews, comments, and deal, for the QN90A look super. Maybe it's time to get another TV. I don't know how much longer these Panasonics will go (the original specs, and literature claim I'd get about 33 years given 8 hours per day on average -- I don't use it that much).
My only concern is reliability with the QN90A. I've become accustomed to bulletproof reliability.
This question may tough to answer - Go more in the direction of Option 1, or in Option 2, or wait for the deal next year on the Q90B (which has supposedly cleaned up a few issues that exist with the QN90A -- I could probably wait as I've been going 13 years with my Panasonics, so, what's another year when I am looking to buy for the long haul) ? After typing that, and knowing this is Slickdeals, I think I already know the answer. Thank you!!!
YMMV but I'd worry the old pannys wouldn't hold up in the sun room. Depends on how hot it gets mid summer. Regardless they are fully obsolete at this point and not worth anything on the used market (give away), so you might as well run it into the ground. Expect poor visual performance in a brightly lit room due to low brightness and reflective screen.

I'm looking to replace my Benq W1070, but will probably just wait for next years LED projectors.
