Do you have instruction on where to buy replacment part & how to solder it in place?
I have a few Logitech mouses lying around the house, all failed due to this double-click issue. Tried to fix them by reshaping the spring, but the issue resurface after a short period of time... so had to bought new mouse...
It's not ideal, but out of warranty you can clean the contacts to stop the double clicking issue for awhile. You can even replace the faulty switches with higher quality ones if you can do basic soldering.
I've been using the older generation G502 Proteus Core since 2015 and it's still working flawlessly. I use this mouse every day for at least 5-6 hours per day year round. If this mouse gives up on me one day, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I've had two G502's over the past 5+ years. My current G502 SE Hero is starting to get the double click. It's about 2 yrs old which is a bummer. With that said I will likely buy another. The double click sucks but the feel and buttons of the mouse I cannot find anything close that I like.

bought it 2 months back when Staples had it for 50% off for $25
came with multiple weights in a snap case to modify it to your liking, definitely the nicest mouse I have bought so far.

This is not even a deal. Why is this here for a deal? It's NORMAL PRICE.
It was $25 a month ago.
Don't listen to anyone who says "This mouse is good because blah blah....". Go to the store and test it. You guys have different hands, palms, fingers, grip type something like that.

Does anyone have experience with this mouse good or bad? thanks

I went through a total of 4 of these (all free after the first purchase, thanks to RMA) before I just gave up. Amazing mouse until it inevitably stops working. Out of all of them I had a 100% fail rate.

Interesting. I'm seeing people having great experiences or really bad ones.

Do you have to keep their bloated software running in order to choose the LED color? I have a Logitech mouse that by default cycles through all the colors continuously.

Oh ok thanks. I guess it's just a different name for infinite scrolling. I thought it was something completely different. I am intrigued by the hyper scrolling movement.

It seems like the Razer Basilik has tried to rival the G502 to a degree.
Just looking at the features list now. I see it has adjustable scroll resistance, that's cool. Have you used it at all? I'm quite curious how irritating it is to switch modes or resistance levels with the adjustment on the bottom. I'd love to have non-logitech options and I always loved the ergonomics of Razer mice. But I do switch modes really often so I'm thinking having the adjustment under the mouse might be a dealbreaker.

No I haven't used either one. I have a Mionix Naos mouse.

Do you mean switching the dpi setting?

FWIW: I have 3 of these, used them for gaming/video editing for the last 6 yrs and love them. I the extra buttons make surfing the web super convenient and the adjustable DPI is great. I have 3 and never had to replace them, still working great!

Nice thanks for sharing. I'm hoping it drops a little more in price.

Nah, the scroll sensitivity. Hyper/infinite scrolling is great, but you need to be able to swtich it back to "clicky" sometimes for better precision. Or at least, that's the "magic" of Logitech's version. You can switch on the fly between speedy scrolling and clicky.

Razer's Basilisk v3 appears to have some kind of software based feature where it automatically switches for you when you scroll fast enough. Curious about how that works.

Ah I understand. It reminds me of cars that break harder if you brake faster but not necessarily full force.

It seems like a lot of people have negative things to say about razer. But I can't tell if it's a pattern or some underlying issues with razer mouses

G502 SE is supposed to be the same mouse but different color, I'm seeing it on Bestbuy for $35.
