Do you have instruction on where to buy replacment part & how to solder it in place?
I have a few Logitech mouses lying around the house, all failed due to this double-click issue. Tried to fix them by reshaping the spring, but the issue resurface after a short period of time... so had to bought new mouse...
It's not ideal, but out of warranty you can clean the contacts to stop the double clicking issue for awhile. You can even replace the faulty switches with higher quality ones if you can do basic soldering.
I've been using the older generation G502 Proteus Core since 2015 and it's still working flawlessly. I use this mouse every day for at least 5-6 hours per day year round. If this mouse gives up on me one day, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Anyone know of a dual scroll wheel mouse (side to side)

Look for the MX master 2, 3, or new 3s for the double scroll wheels

Ah I understand. It reminds me of cars that break harder if you brake faster but not necessarily full force.

It seems like a lot of people have negative things to say about razer. But I can't tell if it's a pattern or some underlying issues with razer mouses
It's funny because I eventually swore off Razer mice after having so many fail on me. I switched to Logitech. Then I come to this thread and find a ton of people saying the exact same thing about Logitech mice. I feel like any of these subjected to heavy use eventually fails, and it seems like a lot of them use the same cheap switches for the primary mouse buttons so they all fail the same way.

Newer high end Razer mice like the Basilisk advertise something about an optical switch for the primary click buttons, not sure if that mitigates the issue.

Interesting. I had thought that it was where the switches were made that made an impact. But I basically know nothing about this really. I'm surprised that it seems as though almost no other manufacturers make hyper scrolling options.

That was what I did so far: Keep buy new mouse after the old one had double-click issue out-of-warranty (yeah, some time it's just by a few months... pretty frustrated, you bet).
Problem with that approach is that the new mouse will only be good for pretty much the same extend of time, and that's why I have 3-4 mice lying around. I guess the replacement switches MUST be a lot better than the original one to justify their price, and that would last me at least 2-3 years. Not?
From what I've seen it seems like the good replacement switches won't ever have that problem over time so it is a permanent fix, or if they do start to have a double-click problem it will happen far less frequently than stock switches so it is definitely worth upgrading if you don't mind using the mouse shell for a long time. Electronics advance in technology so fast that I prefer to get a new mouse every couple years because their sensors seem to double in precision every few years so instead of using a 4k or 8k sensor with 200-400Hz polling rate from 2017 now, you could be using a 25k sensor in the 2021 and 2022 Logitech G-series wireless mouses with 1000Hz polling rate.

For my use case (office work, some codings...), the increase in sensor precision is just not much relevant. I would be happy using even an optical G500 mouse from 10 years ago IF it doesn't have double-click issue. That's why I've been looking for a more "permanent" fix to the many mice that I bought through years, as pretty much everything still work very well, except the double-click issue...

Does anyone have experience with this mouse good or bad? thanks
I have the older version of this and has been working great for 4+ years. Good for bigger hands and work well in games.

Looks like the white version at BB is showing full price.
