Got that backwards, bud. 12 is terrible compared to both 11 and 13.
To be fair that article compares iPhone 12 5G battery life to iPhone 11 4G battery life, which is NOT an apples to apples comparison. 5G does use more power. When on 4G the iPhone 12 does similar to iPhone 11 and with dark mode enabled you also get about 10% extra battery life because iPhone 12 has OLED. iPhone 12 gets same rated battery life as iPhone 13 mini, which is fine. Yes you can get much better battery from some Android phones, but as iPhones go the 12 has fine battery life. It's the 12 mini that really suffers.

12 Pro Max vs 13 Pro Max is hours of difference in typical use. My wife had both and rarely made it through the day with the 12, but the 13 has no problem. The 12 series is weaker in general. I don't disagree with the 5G stuff vs the 11, but her 13 has 5G and lasts much longer.

It is true the 13 series got a bigger battery and more efficient CPU. If battery life if top concern get a 13 series, but at $476 this is the best deal for a newer "sort-of-unlocked" iPhone that isn't the SE.

ATT can be unlocked w/o being a customer - just enter imei on their page and itll be unlocked. Very easy...
I just got my phone today and it's completely unlocked. I tried AT&T and Tmobile and both worked flawlessly. Checked the warranty and it showed 5/26/23

tried this and it says "We can't unlock this device for you because we didn't sell or activate it."
What carrier was the ACTIVELY working sim (meaning it can make calls and such) you put in it during initial activation of the iphone?
If you saw my post prior to the one you quoted... if you want it unlocked, then find somebody with an ATT sim, activate it on att, then request to unlock.
You can also do this with tmobile, but it requires you be a customer and their unlocking process isn't as quick. Verizon requires 60 days for any phone activated on their network before unlocking, so that is the worst option. Again we are talking all post-paid talk... I think pre-paid is even worse.
