The Epic store version doesn't have access to steam workshop, and I would say the mods the community makes takes the game to another level. Totally worth the $1 to get the Steam version if you don't want to get all the DLCs. You can manually download mods for the Epic version and maintain them but its a huge pain once you get past a few hundred mods/assets.
Ah, man, OP, so tempting. The base game ate so much of my time. Now they have a VR version - too bad it's not in this package.
BTW, check your Epic libraries before purchasing just the base game, because it was free at some point.
Be careful with this game. You can make a poor decision to stay up "a little longer" to work on something like your highway system, or improve your public transit routes, and the next thing you know it'll be 2AM and you have to work in the morning.

Never heard of this game. Just added to my wishlist. Thanks for mentioning it. Just curious, what's the cheapest you've seen it go on sale?
it never goes on sale, it's their weird policy. it was 20 dollars when it was "early access". i think they have a demo on steam you can tryout. it's not a game for everyone.
the mod community on it is huge so the re-playability is somewhat infinite. i have almost 2k hours logged. but i'm also a nerd and have almost 1k hours into gnomoria (an unpolished turd that cost 2 bucks).

Wow, never on sale? They must have so many addicts, and word-of-mouth, it's not necessary. I did search and there is no outlet that has keys less than $30, not even eneba or gamivo - so your comment explains it.
Have you played Satisfactory? It's also on my wishlist. If so, how do the two compare (or do they?)?
I bought the previous bundle from Humble. I can't quite justify rebuying this bundle just for Sunset Harbor and Parklife. I really dislike gray market sites, but may have to purchase those DLC's from Eneba for $3-$4 each.
Yep, I would call it that, but I know there are diehard SimCity people who might have my head. I like it a lot more than SimCity. There are a ton of mods on top of all the DLCs - a very large, active group.

never played it, graphics and format really didn't interest me. from what i've seen of it, the concept at the very basic is similar collect materials and manage the logistics of production.
Wube who made factorio basically said they think the game is a value for what it is and how it isn't fair to previous buyers that they would devalue their product.

The game is really addictive. And yes, never on sale. They even raise the price after early access. Do your self a favor, don't get Factorio. It takes away too much time of your life.

Had the same dilemma and couldn't convince myself to buy it especially Humble Bundle has grown to become a greedy retailer. It isn't about charity anymore.
Having a minimum tip of few dollars I can live with that. Forcing a 30% tip is just pure greed. Ever since they became greedy, my donations have declined.
If I wanted to support a cause for $100, Humble pockets $30, f*** no. Nowadays for me it's not about good cause but purely transactional. It's paying absolute minimum for the bundle, all or most that is possible goes to publisher. Charities can ask Humble from their huge cut.
Anyway, rant over. I would probably wait for Cities 2 to come out then buy all the DLC bundles rather than giving greedy (not so) Humble more money for few more bundles which gets me extra copies of the same DLC.
