What does "1,500 tier qualifying points towards A-List status for every $10,000 spent" mean on the $149 priority card? Kinda confused there.
So if you're a diligent Vegas traveler, you could have your CP in a few trips.

You're forgetting that you get 7500 points (worth a minimum of 1.3cpp) each year as well, meaning the $149 annual fee is effectively covered ($75 credit + $100 flight redemption) and then some, without having to factor in the dubious value of an upgraded boarding.
Can not be two personal cards . Last time I did business then personal. That was 2 years ago .
Edit : appears still possible this way and want to clarify the two personal cards to gain companion pass.
It is technically possibly, although, harder. You need to use the MDD method . Most website don't really talk about it but google . Southwest chase mdd method you should find enough info. In a nutshell you need to apply for second card the following day from your first approval and second card needs approved the same day as app. There are some other quirks that you will have to read up on though
That's the commonly accepted value. I just found a $59 flight for 3427 points. Do the math... That's 1.7 cents per point... or 1.57 cents if you deduct $5 for the tax.
So... What number would you suggest?

For more details, I opened up my Southwest card back in 2017 so it's been well over 24 months, but I'm uncertain that I can apply for the card or that I won't receive a bonus if I still have my current account open. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I cancel my old card before applying?
I have 31k in points toward CP at the moment so with this bonus, I'm sure I'd get CP by end of year.
