Its a great deal. The only downside is the CPU+GPU alone will consume 500+ watts under heavy usage. An 11th gen CPU + 3080 = a space heater. If you live in a cold climate with cheap electricity then it's fine. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere.
Is this a good prebuilt? I'm entering pc stuff and don't know much.
The parts for this system, minus the case, is appx $1600 right now. so basically you are getting all the components at retail price, assembled for free in a free (quality unknown) case, windows installed for free and shipped to your door for free.
You might have saved some money on comparable or gotten slightly better drives for the money as the drive market has vastly improved since these prebuilts were put together.
BUT
This system will not throttle your cpu like all big name oems do.
And this system uses standard parts not oem proprietary parts like the big oems use.
This motherboard has expansion room for another m.2 drive and there is room for another pair of memory sticks for upgrading in the future.
Edit: another microatx board in a huge full size atx case, smh...
BUT
This system will not throttle your cpu like all big name oems do.
Actually, surprisingly a lot of the reviews are saying it does throttle the CPU at 100% unless you upgrade the CPU cooler and rear case fan. Be prepared to upgrade these if you want a cooler running system (I won't say cool since the 11th gen is the most power-hungry series of chips intel has released in the last 10+ years).
Bought this last month and made sure to follow the advice of those from the reviews about getting a new case and some more cooling. Luckily there was a AIO, multi fan and case sale going on Newegg and Amazon (woot!).
I did run the system without the upgrades and immediately regretted it (jets are quieter than this system).

Ok so the cpu thermal throttles due to the mentioned unknown quality case, but the oems do it intentionally through lowered power limits
poor customer service and drivers update, build quality is good but performance is meidiocre
Dunno about customer support but it's not proprietary parts, drivers should be available from each part maker. They of course make the mobo but Asus has always had drivers listed on their site. The gpu should just use the Nvidia drivers. Aside from those 2 things you really shouldn't need any other drivers.

Here is what you can expect if you build yourself
1) CPU - microcenter $200
2) CPU cooler - Thermaltake Toughair 510 for $40
3) mobo w/ wifi - woot z590 $160
4) 16GB RAM - $70 amazon b-die
5) 512GB nvme - $50 SP brand amazon
6) 2TB HDD - $50 amazon
7) case - be quiet 500dx $120
8) 750W PSU - $80 NZXT C750 amazon
9) 3080 10GB - $800 EVGA FTW3 Ultra after associate code
10) Window 10 - free if never activated or $120 OEM or $5 for eBay code.
11) Mouse/keyboard - trash get your own.
Total: 200 + 40 + 160 + 70 + 50 + 50 + 120 + 80 + 800 = $1570 + window 10 cost.
Note this deal will require you to buy another case due to air restriction. So the apples to apples comparison is:
$1599 + $120 = $1719 vs $1570
There is open box excellent at: $1488
So true comparison for the low cost stuff:
1488 + 120 = 1608 vs $1570
So you can save a bit if you build yourself and can sort of customize yourself.
