Also, it's been on sale at this price several times over the past few months, guess you weren't watching too close lol
(I bought it last Jan and like it, and FYI it has a throttle lever, just small)

Other manufacturers could learn something - if it works really well, don't "improve" it. I get so sick of new versions of good products coming out, and they are worse, often much worse.

i miss my old Logitech FORCE FEEDBACK 2 joystick Big Grin but the last game i used it for was Freelancer.

No, it works on a bunch of games. I haven't had time to try some of the war games, like DCS, but that's actually the main reason why I really wanted it. Trying to dogfight with a bluetooth xbox one controller is asking for death.

This works great with mame for analog games like afterburner, space harrier, and food fight. If you build a separate spinner control and anchor this down, you can play mad planets.

I miss my sidewinder 3d pro.

I got this 10 years ago and it's okay. I think it's too loose and has too much travel, making precise movements difficult. I tried to play SW Squadrons on it to relive my Tie Fighter days and even after constant tweaking of the sensitivity and deadzones I felt like I was just constantly spinning around and over shooting my targets.

I'd get something else but Im and old man with kids and knowing myself I'd spend 100 dollars on something I'll use once a year if I'm lucky.

DCS is free, via Steam. There are several others, too, which I own but can't remember right now. They are very high quality games, based on the YouTube reviews I've seen. Check out the reviews. Pretty amazing they have free games like that - yeah, there are probably in-game purchases, but from what I've read, you can work your way up.
