most of us prefer not acknowledging that one exists.
Ghostbusters 2 is only bad compared to the original. It's still fun for what it is. It's a damn masterpiece compared to the abomination that followed. Fortunately Afterlife was solid course correction as the 4th.
Yeah. When that game came out, Dan Aykroyd said that he considered it the 3rd movie. It's a decent game.

Man, no hoops to jump through this early in the morning? Don't we normally get non-MA, lower-res, not quite $5 movies first of the week just to make our coffee taste worse?

Ghostbusters caught lightning in a bottle. The redletter podcast guys summed it as "struggling to start a business in New York" and the plot pulls everything together in service to that so perfectly. Even the effects shouldn't have worked, clashing at times, yet somehow it all comes together.
Every movie since has been great actors misused to some degree (some much worse than others). 2016 totally missed the memo with all the weird improve "make each-other laugh" nonsense.
I do want to play the last original cast ghostbusters game as I think it incorporated a lot of the ideas for ghostbusters 3.
