received 25 cents discount per gal on shell fuel reward account every time I use shell app
I just received 25 cents discount per gal on my fuel reward account every time I use shell app with mobile payment (apple pay). I used the shell app twice with $40 purchase and received 50 cents discount. I was trying to use the Amex offer of $5 off $20 with shell app and found this. It works 3 times for me so far. However the discount did not apply in shell app. I have to use the number or the reward card to get the discount on my gas purchsae

It seems the shell app treat me as new user even though I used it 4 times already. I should receive 5 cents off after using the app 4 times but it shows I have not yet use it. No complaint though, because I got 25 cents off each time I use it.

Are you telling me to pay first with the Shell app and then I will get the $0.25 discount in the fuel rewards app?
That makes no sense to pay for gas BEFORE getting the discount. I will try though. I also don't have AMEX
