About a week ago, my closest store changed the receipt thing back to the old way of doing things. In other words, I had my app set at "digital + print at register" and I could pay with cash and automatically a receipt would print with no EB's or CRTs (and no choice as to how I wanted my receipt). I shopped several times this week, and it worked perfectly. Then last night I went to the same register I always use, paid cash, and got the dreaded options "print or no receipt." Yes, they reverted back. Used the SCO for my next transaction and same thing. Only CVS could fix something and then break it again! Mad

Based on your confirmation, I would stay away from tiered deals online. Do you remember how much the cart said you had tracking for the deal. Was it $30.00+. If you have, can you post the receipt.
It was only tracking for the $45, no mention of the $30 goal which is part of what I found confusing. However I emailed customer service and they added the $10 ECB late yesterday. I was surprised because I have never found CVS customer service very helpful.
I don't have the receipt handy but my total after a $10 ECB used and another off body wash was $24 for 8 body washes (6 CVS and 2 Dove), 2 toothbrushes, Listerine and Bounce

Same thing happened to me. Saw on i heart that if you update the app, there are some new options for receipt printing. Don't know if they work as intended.

That is the deal it is tracking for. The tracker also tells you how much $ it is tracking towards the deal. Online tracking is after all dq/crt but can't say if it fell below $30 due to something not included in the deal. If you log into your account, rewards tracker might still show you how much you spent towards this deal.

I was coming to report what fitnessfan and junkbulk reported.

Thanks Sam.0, I actually checked my app updates a few days ago, but found none for CVS. I did have an update option just now, did it and opened my app. Choices now are

Always email
Always email & print
Choose at checkout

In order to make a change, I had to reenter my email address first.

Of course, it's Saturday, when I want to print off any excess at the register, so I won't really know how this affects me until tomorrow.

Interesting. So I guess we would choose "always email & print" and hope the print only prints the receipt with no EB's or CRT's. And hopefully everything still prints out as usual on Saturdays from the redbox.

I accidentally left 'always email & print' on a card today. I got prints at the redbox and didn't notice anything strange. For my last three scans at the redbox, I got only 2 - 3 CRTs.

I then checked out at SCO and I had to choose and I picked 'print'. Since I thought 'choose at checkout' was turned on, I didn't find it strange that I had to choose or that I got CRTs, but my ECB didn't print.

I immediately opened my app, saw it was set to 'always email & print' and set it to 'choose at checkout' and went to the redbox. In my first scan at redbox after this, I got 10 CRTs, the ECB that didn't print and the BB ECB this card had earned. My next two scans also got two more CRTs each.

What does that tell you? Well, I'm not sure. Why did I have to choose at SCO if I actually had 'always email & print' turned on? And why did my ECBs and CRTs not print at the redbox when I was scanning to begin with?

The one thing it tells me is I will need to make sure - like I used to - that on Saturdays I have to change my choice from 'always email & print' to 'choose at checkout'.

CVS, get your act together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used a paper BOGO clairol coupon yesterday, and both the BOGo and 5 off2 were loaded on the card. the digital BOGO worked. I had other things in the transaction.
You can try, and if the total is not 2 cents, then get the transaction voided.
Thanks. This worked perfectly--paid $.02. Did it on 2 accounts. Great way to stock up!!

Generally speaking, I find CVS DQs to come off items based on which one was clipped first. As a result, I try to be very careful with when I choose to clip DQs. Maybe someone else has had a different result recently?
Thanks again. B1G1F was loaded first and it came off!

I tried it at sco. Followed the order of scanning coupon without scanning card, but machine declared coupon is not acceptable both times and had to ask grumpy cashier to void both times. Then tried with same cashier at regular checkout .no luck. He shouted at top of his lungs i had to void four times and others are waiting (other times was his own fault b'coz he forgot to cancel an item) . gave up.

In 'always email & print', any trapped ecb/crts from previous transactions will not print at red box. Once you switched to 'choose at checkout' which seems to be the equivalent of digital off, trapped stuff printed.

When digital is on and you choose print at sco, current (normal) behavior is that you get a batch of untrapped ecb/crts (same as scanning card at red box). ecbs earned in that transaction don't exist yet so they don't print until next transaction when they become untrapped.
Quote from schnauzermomma :

So it looks like new options are just cosmetics. Nothing really changes in the background.

I could be wrong (I don't use SCO much) but I think, if you had the bogo paper mq, you would need to go to the register. The digital ones do come off automatically but, for the paper mq, an amount needs to be entered. I did a transaction on both my card and my mom's, where I used a bogo paper mq and both times cashier had to enter the amount and after that, the digital version came off automatically.
