Edit: reading the conditions again, you get a $10 coupon to be used at Shaw's. It says in the coupon the $10 cannot be used for a gift card purchase and must be used within 7 days.

I then did a bit of grocery shopping. The coupon says "one per transaction" so I split the stuff into 5 transaction of just over $10.
So, it's kind of a pain to have to do it into separate transactions but you do get the $$s. I'll probably do it again. Getting HD gift cards at a discount is kind of rare and we do need groceries so I might as well.

I bought Netflix and Home Depot since they're rarely discounted. Then went shopping and used the coupon to buy $10 in groceries.
