Versus on the Google store? If you have Google One you get 10% back in store credit.

i have this camera.

Battery life is not even close to what they claim, unless it is monitoring a place where there's no activity.

There's a 2-3 second delay between motion detection and video recording

It is not compatible with Nest app, and also not available on home.nest.com. This is a big issue, because i like to see all cameras streaming live view on browser

I have 2 google nest and a few Wyze cameras. Nest quality and response time are both slower than Wyze. Also Google Home app sucks compared to the nest app.

Strange, I don't have the same issues with my cameras. Maybe yours is defective? And definitely use the Google Home app. Cheers 🍻

Agreed google home app is awful and takes way too long to get to a live view…if it ever actually pulls up…and if it actually sends an alert. Bring back the old nest cams. Google farked the whole thing up.

I don't see the 3 pack on the Google Store, only 1, 2 or 4 packs? 2 pack comes out to be $125/camera and with 10% back would make them $112.5. 4 pack is $490 and 440 after 10% so still $110/camera. Costco is cheaper than both options at $107 and it's instant savings.

I mean this deal is better than your suggestion. It's cheaper AND money directly off vs a credit to use later. I have yet to see these cams cheaper so I would say it's a pretty slick deal

I agree, this may be the cheapest "price per camera" that I've seen so far with these. Still hoping though that price will go down further in future deals.

So you have to bring it inside every couple months to recharge it?

Yes, or you can buy an outdoor charging cable that's sold separately if you want it to have continuous power.

From a service perspective, you would consider Google Store only as a last resort ever.

But more importantly, yes, the Google Home software (vs Nest before) kills the product experience. Don't think Google has ever announced how/when or if they will improve this. Probably still slowly figuring out what/when or if they will ever make something useful out of their ADT partnership.
