You were able to get iPhone 13 pro instead of iPhone se3? How much in addition did you pay?
Yes. The 430 is in bill credits. I paid the tax up front so monthly it's around 27 a month after the 17.xx bill credit each month. I plan to pay it off early like I always do though

IMO Se3 and iPhone 11 is more worth this trade in... anything higher is good but with all these crazy trade in deals T-Mobile has between Costco/Best Buy/T-Mobile you can probably easily trade up... the cost/trade isn't quite there for 12/13.... if u plan on staying on the phone, by all means go 13... but se3 and 11 are a good stepping stone...
Sorry, but $430 off any new iPhone is a deal, as these trade-in devices are worthless.

T-Mobile is essentially handing over $430 in store credit toward a new iPhone for nothing. That is a deal no matter how you slice it.

Getting 430 for an iPhone 5s 16gb is the deal here. And I have a 11 pro max too, my 13 pro max is better in every way especially the Qualcomm modem vs the Intel modem in the 11. I guess you could get a 12 to save some money but the 120hz promotion on the 13 pro makes it worth it to me with the trade in

They are just trying to front run inflation/recession, clearing out inventory that doesn't generally sell well se is one, and all the samsung glut they have. All of retail is doing this, you saw it with target, they are seeing the writing on the wall econ. is not well so grab what you can.

Are you sure you don't lose the monthly credit if you pay off the phone early? I just did and the promo/credit vanished form my account. The phone is still showing under my completed EIPs. I have to wait next billing cycle to see if I will get the usual credit before I contact T mobile.

they had to search for the p038 promo cause it's more of a online first promo but they did all the normal stuff for an upgrade but you still need to pay for activation and tax

I put my sim into an unlocked iPhone 4 for 2 days now. The signal is showing 3G. But so far no promo for me yet. Only have that normal "up to $400 trade-in value" promo which my iPhone 4 only given $100.

Still waiting for $430 promo to popup..

Yes, you don't lose the monthly credits. It does take time for the credits to kick in, so it may show up. Also, credits are not listed under EIP, but rather in the promotions section of the bill.

I went into the store and asked for the promotion and the rep said he couldn't find it so I walked out and called tmobile and confirmed the eligibility. (spoke to two different reps on the phone) I proceeded through an online order with no problem.

I don't think the 1st Gen se eligible. 5s and below. Not even the 6/6s qualifies
