Anybody else mail their trade-in and it's just been bouncing around TX for almost 2 weeks with no estimated delivery date?
Not 2 weeks yet, but I got the delay message right after it shipped.
"your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility"

It's been it TX for a few days now

I've done this trade in with assurance for many of those Costco trade in deals... sometimes it will sit in the office for a week, sometimes it gets processed right away. I've had both. Stressful as hell but they eventually got it...

Put my sim in an old 4S last week and got this today in email, so yeah, they're still checking.

T-Force put it through for me, so who knows if I will have to fight for the credit or not - I have snapshots of them saying several times I was eligible and exactly what the credit was for and how long it would be applied for.

I think many of us put sims into old iPhones hoping it would somehow automatically activate the promo so we could place orders online. But in reality it seems like many T-Mobile accounts were already targeted with the eligible promo regardless if there was a 3g iPhone currently active on it or not. This was a weird promo with mysterious criteria for eligibility.

In hindsight, popping in a sim recently probably did nothing as far as automatically activating the promo on any given account. What it did do however for us without the targeted promo on our accounts is show a currently active 3g iPhone that a call rep could then see on our accounts. At least in my case, that was enough for the call rep to determine that I was "eligible" and therefore manually process the order and tack on the promo.
Did the P1 promo show up on your account?

No, P7 is still on my account. T-Force promised to switch it to P1. I'm still waiting for that to happen however.

While some others here received instant account credit to fix the issue, others like myself were not so lucky and instead were diverted into a 72 hour holding pattern so that some mysterious offline reps can go in and magically make the switch to P1.

Sounded like BS to me when I was told this by T-Force, but another SDer who was told the same thing just posted that it was ultimately switched over properly after 72 hours.

Yes, but I dropped my trade-in off at the store directly. Look under "account activity". Mine shows:

Device Recovery zero credit

Device Recovery Trade In zero credit

You can also see what promotions were applied and when.
i dropped my old phone off for trade in at local store as well. after 2 days of waiting and no promo showed up on my account, i contacted tforce and rep gave me 1 month credit toward this month bill and assured me that promo should kick in next billing cycle. so that means im getting 25 months of credits ? lol

I put 4 Sims into 4 iPhone 4 & 5s almost 2 weeks ago and no promo emails, or sudden availability of the promo have appeared.

If you got something, then you are lucky.

I talked and chat with CSR 3 times. They all confirmed that I am eligible for the promo. However, as many of you stated, it is a targeted offer, and the CSR couldn't do anything. They told me to wait and see for another week.
If some of you got the email, then consider you are lucky.

Call another rep. The plan is technically called retirement plan in their system which is probably why the CSR asked if you're retired. Retirement is in regards to the 3G retirement.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried 2 more reps, 1 said since it's a targeted promo, i am not eligible and 2nd rep asked if i have eligible device, i said Yes, 5c and the she said i should do it online by myself and she didn't help much. I may try again sometime tomorrow now

My case is different. I got $430 promo in my account as I have a line with iPhone 5c for long time. The promo also showed up in my order. But no any promo attached to my EIP even after the SE3 got delivered. TForce tried to apply P1 manually twice. But it always hit error. So they just submitted a request to close my EIP.

As my experience, 2 billing cycles don't fix anything. If the promo can work, system will apply it quickly. Otherwise, you'll not get the promo. The system is a software program. If it detects your account not eligible for the promo in day 1, it doesn't make sense that it can detect you eligible after two months.
