"your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility"
It's been it TX for a few days now
T-Force put it through for me, so who knows if I will have to fight for the credit or not - I have snapshots of them saying several times I was eligible and exactly what the credit was for and how long it would be applied for.
In hindsight, popping in a sim recently probably did nothing as far as automatically activating the promo on any given account. What it did do however for us without the targeted promo on our accounts is show a currently active 3g iPhone that a call rep could then see on our accounts. At least in my case, that was enough for the call rep to determine that I was "eligible" and therefore manually process the order and tack on the promo.
While some others here received instant account credit to fix the issue, others like myself were not so lucky and instead were diverted into a 72 hour holding pattern so that some mysterious offline reps can go in and magically make the switch to P1.
Sounded like BS to me when I was told this by T-Force, but another SDer who was told the same thing just posted that it was ultimately switched over properly after 72 hours.

If some of you got the email, then consider you are lucky.
