The set posted is a real set, it's just not a good price. I own both saws and they are great. I also own 17 Ridgid cordless tools including the Octane circular saw and one-handed reciprocating saw. The Ryobi reciprocating saw cuts almost as fast as the Octane. It was great to have two of them when my wife and I cut up our hot tub. The little 5.5" Ryobi circular saw is a hidden gem. There's a reason there are so many glowing reviews. I use it far more than my Ridgid, because it's so light and small and just handy as all get out. I used it to cut a sheet of old warped 1/2" plywood into over 100 small pieces on one 2 Ah battery and still had one bar left. I also used it to cut up all the water hoses and plumbing lines from the hut tub in to small pieces in order to bag them. GREAT little saw!

Why does it matter what some fictitious crossed out price is when nobody is paying it anyways?

What really matters is the current $109 price tag for 3 decent tools and a battery plus charger.

the problem with these combos is they all come with a hammer drill or just a regular drill and no one needs it. this is a weekend warrior set.

Many pros use Ryobi. Just check out the various power tool forms around the internet. I'm a tile installer for over 30 years. Back in the 90's I used cordless Makita power tools, then I moved on to cordless Porter Cable. The Ryobi stuff, though not built quite as robust as those old tools, are so much more powerful it's not even a comparison. And the runtime is far far better. That being said, it depends on the trade. As I tile setter I use cordless power tools mostly for prep work. I'm not cutting lumber and driving screws all day long, it's sparingly. So a little 5.5" circular saw like the Ryobi is perfect for my use, as when I'm sisteriing studs or cutting shims or blocking out a shower niche I don't need the most powerful saw, just something light and small that fits in my tool boxes that I grab when needed. If I were framing houses Ryobi would not be my saw of choice.

Well, all I can say is I used a 2 Ah battery with the same saw and was able to cut up two old sheets of 3/8" plywood into over 100 small pieces and still had one bar left when I finished.
