The screen is probably TN with poor viewing angles. This https://slickdeals.net/f/15794380-hp-laptop-intel-core-i3-1125g4-14-1080p-ips-8gb-ddr4-256gb-ssd-win... is a slightly smaller laptop with the same specs and it has an IPS screen

This one has an Ethernet port (RJ-45), in case that matters to you.
I don't see that spec'ed on the one you pointed to on costco.com.

Most likely not, because I have a 2019 version of that 14" laptop with 10th-gen i5 and it doesn't have an ethernet port. USB-to-ethernet adapters are cheap though

Well the "Details" on the Staples product page has this:

2GHz Intel Core i3-1125G4 quad-core processor with up to 3.7GHz speed and 8MB cache memory

Perhaps the missing "2" in your #?

Think you are confused with the HP laptop at Best Buy. This is the 1125g4 and has one of two slots filled with 8GB. So adding another 8GB is easy. Great price. It is not Display Port or HDMI 2.0 so 4k @ 60hz not possible but that is rather normal. You can do 4k @ 30hz.

Nope, it says "11th Generation Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor" right on the HP Features if you scroll down the page. https://cdn.cnetcontent.com/syndi...iginal.jpg They have conflicting info on the page because it says i3-1125G4 at the top and then says i3-1115G4 lower down in the images and features

Not the first time I have seen them use the wrong picture in presenting a product. Others do it as well. Why i look up the product number and go to HP to find out what it really is. This is just a bad ad by Staples.

Price dropped to $289.99. Purchased this on 6/25 and just got it pricematched. Sent email request on 7/11 and got it approved the next day.
