Avoid processed foods (including foods that claim they're keto-friendly - they're often not, plus you lose a lot of nutrients in the processing). Take a multivitamin daily. Use salt (if you're in nutritional ketosis, your kidneys are more efficient at clearing out salt; Steven Phinney at virta health has a video discussing this on youtube). No-salt has potassium if you think that's needed. Look at the r/keto space on reddit - they have FAQs and a page for people starting on keto - discussing nutritional needs and what to watch for at the beginning as your body adjusts (hint: in the first couple weeks, don't cut your calories dramatically - just focus on eating keto friend (unprocessed) foods). Work toward intermittent fasting - going 16-18-20 hours without eating.
Once you're in nutritional ketosis (when you're body has shifted more toward burning fat, rather than glucose for fuel), your hunger & cravings largely go away until after you've gone 12-15 hours without food (you can have liquids, and even small amounts of heavy cream with tea, coffee in that time - just avoid protein and carbs). Research has shown that being in nutritional ketosis shifts levels of certain hormones (like ghrelin, CCK) towards appetite suppression rather than hunger, which also helps decrease hunger. Avoiding all but the low end of the spectrum on foods with carbs helps reduce spikes in blood sugar, which causes cravings that people usually interpret as hunger, and the subsequent spike in insulin which works to store the excess glucose in the blood as fat (which then reduces blood sugar levels, which makes people want to eat again). See some of Gary Taubes's books on keto diets.
I've done extended fasting (week+) and if youre serious about needing electrolytes, buy them individually as in magnesium pills, iodized salt and potassium salt or pills ( I like the salt better). It is A LOT cheaper, easier and probably won't bother your stomach as much as this stuff.

1. To drink while I do peloton workouts
2. To help with hangovers
It does a great job with both. I'm sure someone will come in this thread and tell me that scientifically it's not doing anything and that it's all placebo to which I'll respond: "I don't care".
Seriously it tastes great and helps me get water intake in the two moments I need it most so as long as that's true I'll keep buying it.
Please do not thumbs down just because you like to be an angry slender person. Let that one person straddling the fence not go on this diet after reading my post.

Alcohol is a diuretic so you're losing water via your pee which causes an electrolyte imbalance. Glad you found something that works!!

It is true, you do not need THIS particular solution, but you probably should supplement electrolytes if you are on keto or if you drink the recommended 64oz of water per day. That much water flushes your kidneys of sodium and other needed electrolytes.
Sorry, but the previous poster was 100% wrong.

Some would argue, the brain works better on ketones.

"It turned out that Ketones are a much better energy source for the brain than Glucose because of their more efficient pathway. When Ketones are used to produce energy using Oxygen, more ATP is produced per molecule with Ketones than with Glucose."

It's pricey, but short list of ingredients, and higher proportions.
