- Very good screen, not great, but very good. It would be hard to go back to a 16:9 aspect after using the 16:10 ratio.
- Excellent speakers, they must have used the same tech as the g14 because these are formidable.
- Surprisingly deep keyboard! Coming from a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus, the Asus X13 is more comfortable.
- Gets 90-ish FPS in Borderlands PreSequel. I haven't really played anything else yet. Temps are higher than I wanted (85°-90° C) but you don't really feel it on the keyboard.
- That heat is on a laptop cooling pad, with Ryzen Controller (supposedly) limiting to 84° and with the registry edit set to Efficient-Aggressive. So...yeah, getting up to 90° C doesn't make me happy. But again, it's like my old 2020 HP Omen in reading high temps, but not cooking your legs or fingers.
- The battery is just bad. I do think they increased capacity in the 2022 model, but even on silent/reduced settings, I'm only seeing ~4 hrs off the charger for office tasks & streaming video. That's just not enough for an ultra portable form factor.
- It has twice run itself down while the lid was shut and supposed to be sleeping. Not frequent enough to be a big concern, but if this was your daily travel warrior...
- Well built overall with a stiff hinge and pretty resistant to fingerprints. Not much creaking.
- Overall I really like this. If the 2022 model ups the battery life by several hours, then that's a huge win. I don't think I'd spend $1,300-$1,500 on it, though.

I decided to call BB CS while I am waiting on the CS chat. The CS representative told me that they don't have access to price match open box products through their call center.
I just hope they can do a price match through the customer support chat. I would hate to buy another laptop and return the one I have here.
Did they ask you anything in particular? Did they honor the new price without a fuzz?
I am still waiting in the CS chat queue for another 120mins
