Do you toss the extension cord into the tree before you cut branches? How do you cut a cord on a 10 foot saw???

I've had one of these years ago and hated it. Balancing all that weight above your head is annoying and it's still pretty short at full extension. I vote for a longer none-powered saw.

I don't trust those "good" reviews. I left one bad review of what actually happen to me (just like you) and now I can't leave anymore review on Amazon. So IMO Amazon review is closer to a social media than actual review from users, you are not allow to say negative things.

Bought this on the last fp deal and used it all last summer. Loved it, just read the directions before using and you have a nice little pole chain saw.

This is great considering how cheap it is. I've had one for about 3 years with no issues except for leaking chain oil which is almost impossible to avoid

Was in the market for a pole saw but I think I'll go with the Ryobi battery operated one from the other FP deal since I have a few of those batteries lying around plus I think the deal comes with a battery and charger for around $60 or $70.

This thing is trash. Bought it from a previous fp deal and I used it for maybe an inch thick branch and the plastic housing of the motor just tore right up. Perhaps it was too thick of a branch but for anything smaller, youre better off using a different pole saw.
Edit: perhaps I was using it incorrectly since it has multiple good reviews on amazon. Who knows

Which one are you talking about? Searched and I can't find it. I need one too, and I also have lots of Ryobi batteries.

It's not suppose to leak? All mine leaks so I thought it's a normal thing. laugh out loud I thought that's how it oil itself, oil the chain. laugh out loud The direction say nothing about it's not suppose to leak or am I not reading the direction correctly?

This thing is great for the price. It's pretty powerful for what it is.

In for one, we shall see. Only plan on intermittent usage, better than spending $100 on it. Guessing I still need chain oil right?

Got it for $60 8 month ago. Pretty good if you don't mind the limits and inconvenience of a corded tool.

I've own one for about 5 yrs now that I trim the trees on my property with. I've cut up to 4-6" thick branches and trees with it no problem. Definitely a powerful tool due to it being corded. Make sure you check the chain tension before using every time. I didn't check it one time and the chain was loose enough to hit the plastic cover, luckily it didn't damage anything other than a few scratches on the cover.

I usually just hold the cord in one of my hands and sometimes the cord over one of my shoulders depending at the angle I'm cutting. Great tool for a great price!
