it seems slow for gen 4 because it's not gen 4 it's gen 3

Terrible? No. But considering the blinding speed ratings for most of the 1TB NVMEs these days, you may turn your nose up at this. But if you use Windows, and depending on the use, you may never know different. But then again the same may apply for SATA SSDs. I would still consider getting it and, at worst, consider getting a NVME external USB 3+ container to put it into if you get a PS5 level drive for similar cost. It would still make for an incredibly fast flash drive.

I just bought one of these like 5 days ago for $10 more and Amazon doesn't price match (just confirmed via phone support). I assume my only option if I want $10 back is to buy another one and return my previous order?
