also since this is prepaid , its probably best to wait and change near the end of the billing cycle to avoid pro-rated charges for a full month I would think.
I do have a new iPhone SE cricket gave 1 of my extra lines back in January on that 3g deal , so hopefully I can get it unlocked and then just drop it and go 4 for $100. So wait It out seems best for now anyways.
I have heard horror stories of Visible being super slow due to deprioritization
Not anymore it isn't
Ummm you could also get a different phone vs paying 1800 bucks extra per year for a different service? Are you so wedded to your old phones?
Not if you have 4 or 5 lines
The 190 is before the multi line discounts kick in

Good luck. Cricket still the best deal for most.
My text said starting August 2nd for me. So I can safely assume my July 1st bill will still be $100. And I think my August 1st bill will also be $100? So I just have to change to the $25 per line unlimited plan after I pay the August 1st bill? There's an option to change your plan starting at the next billing cycle, so I should wait till we're in July before scheduling my plan change?
now that I think about it I haven't ran a speed test on Visible since I got the Verizon 5g home internet.
on the home internet I get 300-320mbps down and 20up
on visible right now I just got 120down 14 up
just ran my post paid Verizon vs visible
post paid Verizon: ping 31ms 99 down 34 up
visible: ping 53ms 80 up 20 down
not bad but I have seen bigger gaps and longer ping times with visible especially when trying to run it as a hot spot. I've seen as high as 100ms ping as low as 30down and 5 up
hope this helps
also I got a notification from post paid Verizon that my bill will be going up $6 a month. so I might just end up cancelling it and just use the Visible prepaid line.
That was a very helpful post, one thing really piqued my interest though: how are you getting Verizon 5G home internet for $25 a month? That's a really low price..
I have a Verizon post paid which would allow me to get the home internet for $40 a month but I added the home internet on my families account because they were planning to upgrade a few months later to get new phones. Once they upgraded to the newer 5g cell service it dropped the price down of the home internet to only $25 a month.
I have an older set data amount on my post paid Verizon account as I don't use that much data every month. So upgrading to the newer 5g service would be a big jump in my bill every month for me and I don't think it's worth it.
I am thinking 4 lines unlimited at totalwireless for $95 (100GB shared for 4 lines)
and 1 line at total wireless for my fifth line for $20 (1GB)
How should I port my numbers? Port the fifth line first, then port the other 4 lines to the new family plan? Its been a while since I have switched carriers.
