Can't wait, have been needing a Stargate fix ever since SG Atlantis went off the air. Bounce

Okay I'm confused. Rush can't figure out the power problem. Yet they have those body switching stones. Why can't someone which bodies with Carter, Jackson or even McKay, to help Rush?

My guess is they are going to fly into the star and get energy by that means (somehow). But there are so many plot holes right now it's getting hard to concentrate. what happened to the two people who left the desert world? What is up with that pod thing that launched off. Why is the stupid general guy on earth trying to play politics when everyone is going to die in a day or two?

I really hope this show doesn't turn away from SGA and turn into a soap opera with a slight hint of being science fiction... That would really suck. I do miss SGA. It was rather good.

You called it! woot

This episode was a lot better than the last one. Here's hoping they keep this up. Although I find their lack of imagination rather silly. No one on the ship considered this possibility? Come on! I had considered that they might get close to get power and then alter course to skim over the sun but didn't think they would actually be able to go through the sun. That's a bit far fetched when you consider that the ship is much older than the ones previously encountered, and those 'newer' ships have shields that could never hold up to something like that.

I'm still watching, but I haven't been impressed since the two-part premiere. Maybe it was just really good, but the last three episodes haven't been anywhere near the first.

Perhaps Rush knew all along... Did you catch the ending of the episode where Col. Young asks him and he ignores the question? Perhaps he knew all along and intended to try to get rid of some people to increase their chance of survival (more food).

While better, I think this episode was slow.

But they sent supplies with the 15 people, so the food went with them.

Any future supplies that they can acquire would then be split fewer ways. There's also the oxygen scrubbers to consider too.

Although I agree, it is kind of strange, like abandoning those two people on that one planet. Just another unfinished point in the plot. Annoyed

That doesnt make sense, why even bother helping them get into contact?
If rush wanted them gone they would be gone, i think he is going out of his way to make the point that they all need him.

It kind of seemed that the Destiny knew what it was doing. First, it has been out there for millions of years, and no magical power source like a dozen ZPMs. It had to be recharging somehow. Plus it survived all that long and just now crashed into a sun?

On the other hand, I not sure how much I like the idea of the Destiny always knowing what it is doing. There has been some suspense of far, but for the most part the team is just along for the ride. Really, so far nothing has actually happened. When do we meet out first aliens, or actually have to defend ourselves?

From the preview, it looks like the next episode.
