You are a life saver. Absolutely no brainer for a monitor this quality reduced from $1199 to $670
Awesome price. If anyone wants the G9 instead of the CRG9, it's $890, which is the cheapest it's been in a while. That one is 240Hz instead of 120, and 1000R curve instead of 1500R, meaning more of a curve
Comparison between CRG9 and G9 below. In case you are interested, I purchased a CRG9. My use case is 99% productivity, so it comes down to how aggressive of the curve that I prefer. Coming from a 3 x 27inch (2560x1440) setup, I think I will be fine with a CRG9 + a 27 inch (for sharing screen on zoom calls). I was also considering LG C2 42" OLED, I think I will stick with a traditional monitor for now for 1/2 the price of 42" OLED.
You will likely need a dedicated HDMI or DisplayPort cable + adapter for this. Probably best to make sure your HDMI cable and adapter both support 8k@60Hz, if you want to be guaranteed full resolution plus high refresh rate on these monitors
Spot on - I copped a Maxonar USB-C to DispPort 1.4 and works like a charm. Resolution and refresh rate both at the max - no issues.
Can it be used with MacBook. Especially the M1 Mac. I have a Mac mini
Yes - just need the right dedicated cable. I got a Maxonar USBC to Disp Port (8k @ 60hz model) cable from Amazon and everything just worked right off the bat.

Ordered it for in-store pick up. It was expected to be ready on 7/2. Now 7/5 still have nothing. Contacted Samsung customer service and they have no clue... Anyone has gotten the monitor already?

Odyssey ordered for BB pickup, by 7/5 there wasn't any updates and the Chat support said it was all backordered. Told them to not cancel it and that I want it still; but checked today and it shows canceled.
