Just a heads up. We bought this fridge for our garage in the middle of winter. It never got cold. We thought it was broken and were about to return it. Then we read the instruction booklet and found out it doesn't work in freezing temperatures. We put it in the basement and it works fine.
This is not a problem that is necessarily unique to this particular model. Cold air on the outside tricks the thermostat into thinking the inside air doesn't need chilling, and the compressor (which causes the refrigeration process) isn't activated.

Honestly very few residential refrigerators are meant for for use outside of 65-80F temps. Many might work okay-ish BUT they were not designed for such things. Freezing temps in the winter and 100+ (with high humidity) in the summer are outside the design limits of a device that was destined for a conditioned environment.

Then just buy an older model off Craigslist or wherever. We have a Kenmore one of these in our garage that works no matter what... and it's 30+ years old.

Honestly older refrigerators probably are more tolerant of being used in 'outdoor' like conditions as the amount of people without central AC becomes less and less every year. Also energy efficiency requirements were not so much a thing so dumping power towards cooling 'no matter what' was no problem as they were not rated.

Unless you buy a refrigerator specifically marked, "Garage ready" or similar, no modern refrigerator will work in temperatures below about 40F. It has to do with the energy-saving technology of today's fridges. So you can spend extra for "garage ready" fridge, or you can look for a 25 year old fridge for $50 that WILL work in freezing temps.
