Be sure to watch YT for installations. Common installation mistakes for above items include over-tightening and tightening wrong direction.

Start with these 2 videos and be patient:

How to Adjust a Front Derailleur [youtu.be]
How to Adjust a Rear Derailleur [youtu.be]

One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

Guys, about that standover height...it's not about what you "intend" to do, but when something "unintentional" happens.

Just watched today's GCN video and first 5 sec had me rotf and immediately thought about posting here for your enjoyment: https://youtu.be/TQuh_iAjVFA

If you only watch the first 5 - 10 sec, quick context -- the 2 guys swapped bikes to make a point, and the short guy on the tall bike obviously had an unintentional incident.
It would be nice to have someone post the effective standover height for the 20". But I suspect it's within an inch of the 18".

And if you come out of both of your clipless pedals like in this video, I don't think that inch will make a difference on whether you contact the top tube or not.

Regardless of the frame size, all the top tubes have to angle up to meet the head tube which has a minimum height based upon the 29 wheels, the fork length, and the head tube length.

Per Framed's Rendal geo chart, there is less than an inch difference between the Rendal head tube length across their 6 inches of frame sizing (15"-21") so I'm guessing less than 1/2" between the head tube lengths of the 18" & 20" frames in question.

Because there's so little difference in the head tube heights, there is going to be less of a difference in standover height the closer you move towards the head tube - which is where your soft parts are headed if you somehow lose contact with both of your pedals AND seat AND remain on top of your bike. At that stage you're usually already bouncing on the ground providing entertainment for your riding friends and YouTube brethren.

But again, it would be really helpful for those considering buying one of the remaining 20" bikes if someone could provide the standover measurements for that sized bike.

You can go to Camping Worlds website or Overtons to see if they are in stock and just enter a quantity like 100 and it will tell you how many they have in stock. No need to call. Camping Worlds site is a little easier as it will cross out the sizes that aren't in stock.
tad late to post that..... Reason for the call was online chat stated there were some 18" models in stock still and I would need to call to place an order. That wasnt the case and the csr on the phone stated we are out and have 53 of the 20"

Haha I'll take every fraction of an inch I could get to clear my junk, especially on an MTB. I stand over my bike too many times to the side on single tracks to let faster riders go by, it's proper trail riding etiquette. I'm sure that poor guy in the video wished he had an extra inch of clearance. You could tell he didn't want to just ditch his friend's bike on the pavement and scratch up that expensive carbon bike. He purposely steered it to the grass on his junk before ditching. It was funny in so many ways going through what he might be thinking in that couple of seconds LMAO

I've been fixed. Wave ..... main use for this bike will be street and riding with my kids. Maybe trails a few years from now but it would be light trails nothing extreme. The standing over the bike I've never tried till yesterday. I've been riding my current walmart bike for the past 3 years. At the price point its a nice upgrade , only concern is its a 20" but with my riding style I think I'll be okay.

After waiting over a month, and contacting support multiple times, they emailed me today to state that they no longer have this item and my order has been cancelled - even though they are still selling it on their website.
Ugh that sucks. Did your credit card get charged when you placed the order ? And did I you get a refund?

Got my 20", i can straddle the top bar ok, i'm 5 10". Im just a gravel rider and pavement, it seems inline with my favorite hybrid specialized large size bike. I probably ride too large of bikes, havent had an issue though. If I stopped over a pot hole or low spot in the ground I might be in trouble. But its not like riding a flat top bar bike for the 6'5 riders where there would be no way to step off one of those.

After sending back the 16" wrong size model, they cancelled. Then I emailed right away to not cancel and there was a feedback area on the cancel form and I put a note in there. Got a shipping noticed few days later. 3 delays in shipping.
Bearings are too right on the front wheel on this one, will need adjusting and probably going to have to check the back. Nice bike otherwise. Fork is a little taller than my hybrids, may swap and smaller tires if too tall.

can you measure the seat at lowest point and the bar where your crotch hits? I received a tracking number but it hasnt shipped yet. Placed an order a few days ago and the 20" will be on the larger side but manageable. It'll be mainly street and riding with my kids and some grass/ trails.

https://imgur.com/HQHIO2l Seat was up an inch, so it can go lower. Should be able to see top of frame tube.Measured from ground.
https://imgur.com/vChcuVZ Better seat pic. Will need to cut off bottom of seat post to go lower if needed like others mentioned.

Thank you!!!! Addressed my concerns and probably others on height. 34 " seat height works for me on current bike. Ill have measure the bar height in front of the seat area.if i keep it I'll need to cut 1-2" off seat

link is to the current bike I used, it was a gift years ago.

The mid bar area is 32-33" and it'll touch my crouch standing barefooted without shoes. Current seat height is at 34" and I can stand with shoes on. Measurements of the mid bar on the Framed bike appear to be about the same. Looks like to make this work I'll need to cut the seat post a 1-2 inches

Hmm… CW and Overtons are again showing stock for the 20" but price is now $375!

If you had your 20" order cancelled at the lower price, it may be time to raise a stink about that.

For normal saddle height when you are sitting and peddling on a bike, both your feet should not be able to touch the ground flat-footed. When you get off the saddle and straddle over the bike's top tube, you should have generous room for your junk when standing flat-footed on the ground. The funny GCN video I linked previously goes on to show you how to setup your saddle height.

At $125, $135, maybe the $179 was as ok price. But I wouldnt buy a bike with Shimano Tourney derailleur for almost $400. Had those on Schwinn's which is fine but Schwinn in the $350 moved on to better parts.

should be 1-2" between top rail and crotch for standing over it. Didnt realize about the seat height and shouldnt be able to touch with both feet. I'm still waiting for the shipment to move from KY. Shipping label was created last friday but no movement yet.
