Why do you need a air compressor powered by battery? I would buy the cordless inflator or nailgun with battery directly
If you have pneumatic nail guns already this is a good addition. To buy a cordless nailer they are near 300ea. Price an 18,16, and a pinner and you'll go broke quickly. Currently pneumatics are still much smaller than cordless so there is still a place for many people. Also the inflator is slow. It's great for topping off tires and such but it lacks CFM. To fill something that needs a lot of volume you will be waiting a long time.

I am a finished carpenter and I work in a lot of remote locations where power is limited, I also much prefer pneumatic nailer. This thing is great! It is so quiet, it will run all day on a 12ah or even an 8ah. I don't use it in my shop. I have a large air compressor for that, but when I need to go somewhere this thing is great.
Thank you, bought. I can see how this would be very useful. I already own pneumatics, don't really want to get all new battery tools to be honest - too much of an investment. This is just right.

I own both the Milwaukee and the Dewalt cordless compressor, and even though I have favorites between the brands depending on the tool, this thing is head and shoulders above the Dewalt. It's faster to inflate, beats it on runtime, and it's unbelievably quiet. If you don't want to dump thousands into the full set of cordless nailers, this is a no brainer for finish carpentry and the like. It's an exceptional tool
