It was suppose to be a nice, short, simple day. Early release, so all should be well, right?
Since I'm a TA in the EBD wing of a school, not so much. The school day went alright, but then came the bus ride home. Half the damn parents weren't at the doors for the special ed dept kids who needed an adult pickup, and there was one kid's parents who were so clueless that they forgot about the damn early release day. It ended up that I had an hour's overtime on the clock, which money-wise is pretty sweet, but I was damn annoyed.
Got home, found out that the landlord's handyman was still here working on the leaky bathtub faucet. I thought they'd be done, and here I was with no water, so I had to head out and be elsewhere to get food and use the bloody bathroom.
I go to class, that went fairly well...but I get home and discover that, while I have new faucets on my sink and bathtub, the dude didn't clean up after himself at all. I spent 45 min cleaning up his mess. *sigh*
Overall not too much bad stuff, really, but I was expecting an easy day. Teaches me about expectations.
