Logged into youtube yesterday and was sent a popup for 90 days youtube premium for free. Tried link on another browser and it works for anyone apparently.

VPN into Argentina youtube and you can have it for under $1.50 a month. Once you start the sub, you can go back to US or whatever native servers you use with no difference in service.

Ive had YT Red/Premium since 2018 and it ABSOLUTELY changes how you use the service. Without the annoying ads, you are more comfortable "grazing" on videos which you normally would not watch. Esp true on the the phone where we have exponentially lower attention span.

I just went the VPN way and it WORKS !!

I used Turkey as is cheapest with the inflation ravaging the country there 70% year over year

HERE ARE THE STEPS:

• Make new Gmail Account, can put fake name, mine is "Catch Not"

• Turn on VNP with location Turkey

• Open Icognito Page in BROWSER

• Navigate to YouTube.com

• Sign in with the new email adress

• Click on the menu of the left, find "YouTube Premium" button

• Monthly is $16.99TRY - about $1 a month, or you can sub yearly and get a discount - $169TRY which is about $10 a year

• Click "Try For Free" button

• Will ask for Credit Card - add your regular credit card, or WHATEVER you want to pay with

• I used my every day credit card, and entered my actual name there (or it wont go thru obviously)

• Enter your Expiration Date and 3 digit code from the back of the card

• DO NOT ENTER BILLING ADRESS !!

• It did NOT ask me to put a residential adress on anywhere either.

• Just press pay, and enjoy YouTube Premium for less than $1 a month, and trust me, with the inflation will only get CHEAPER from now on!

I think everyone has to be the same. Other posts describe similar problems. I set up mine thru Turkey via VPN and going to try creating Turkey gmail account for a "family member" via VPN.

This still works great for a single account at least. Thanks everyone. I just did Tunnel Bear and Argentina. Couldn't get Windscribe and Turkey to work on the first try. Paid with Privacy after a couple of my credit cards declined the charge but Privacy worked fine

Tried FastestVPN and country =turkey. Can't get the new price. I'm only seeing 16.99 per month. I tried India as well and got Rupee price but couldn't get the CC through. Failed on transaction as it thought it was fraud.

thanks! I'll try this as windscribe+turkey is what most used in the past but seems it's no longer working

I also read somewhere that some annual plan subscribers are offered to subscribe for an additional year about 3 months into their annual subscription. Has anyone seen that?

I had done one as proof of concept (Turkey) and logged in to my gmail for the account to check (VPN + inPrivate browsing). I see an email that price increases on November 21 from 16.99 TRY/month to 29.99 TRY/month which should be about $1.61/month. I remember reading some were using some kind of $1 trick with their credit card issuer where charges below $1 were dismissed. I guess they won't be dismissed now.
