Bare with me, this is my first post & I'm doing it from my Cellphone.

BrandsMart just put up the LG C1 65' for $1298.88 on their website. This is the lowest I've seen it brand new. Pretty sure Best Buy and other retailers will price match as long as you have one within a certain distance. Please let me know if there is anything I'm missing in the post.

I have an 11 year old Ingsigna plasma with a great picture and no burn-in. I have been tempted by OLED's for a couple years. Not a gamer, just TV and streaming. Do I wait until this plasma dies (if ever) or should I upgrade to the OLED? I am happy with what I have, but I don't know what, if anything, I am missing by sticking with old technology.
I am tempted to BB price match this thing.

$1719-$324=$1395

$1299x1.08=$1402 (example tax rate)

At the very least you gain by not needing the streaming boxes anymore. Also your current can't display HDR content.

Ordinary OTA TV you're not going to gain anything I believe.

If your current TV is < 65" then...you "gain" a bigger view area.

I was able to pricematch through best buy, had to do the chat twice, first time was turned down.

Finally I was able to order after 5 tries. All of them was asking for my zip code and were saying, the store you are trying to price match is a regional store. We will be able to price match only if you live within 25 miles.
