Being Amazon Basics brand it should be above all the XYZHICO crap brands that flood Amazons site but I am still cautious on "rotating plugs" that is not a serious name brand. Too many fires this past year from all the crap USB cords that charge high end prices but then melt away after a few months use. So far this year I have had to replace JBL headphones, Samsung phone, and a USB lamp all of which the cord shorted and melted. Never again.

I witnessed it firsthand a couple years ago. Got a no-name China made wireless charger pad off Amazon. The thing started melting after a week. It's not worth risking a house fire to save 20 bucks over a good brand name unit
