I need a new car.

I was looking at either the 2023 Kia Sportage EX or Hyundai Tucson SEL. Their are pluses or minuses for each car.

I really can't afford the hybrid version. It is just too much extra to spend.

My car is rather unsafe to drive the front seat is leaning and I can't get it fixed. I think I have a radiator leak. It has electrical bugs and the gas mileage is awful.

So...want. Fair enough. Your money. You did choose the two most stolen brands, be aware of that. Insurance may eat up the gas savings depending on where you live.

I did not know that. I will wait as long as I can. I will not be ripped off. Even though paying MSRP is a rip off in itself. I hate going through this process. My AC needs a repair to for $600. It works but it doesn't work well. I live in Phoenix so it is a big problem. Luckily I mostly drive in the morning.

So shop around for the car, look at Las Vegas there are a lot of dealers there and they may actually have some. See about buying services thru credit union, employer or even COSTCO.

Which dealership is closer to where you live or work, check with your insurance company get a VIN off the internet for both cars that are close to what you want to buy then provide it to your insurance company to see if there is an advantage to either!
