Man, I miss the days where they also included the shifter! This is the cheapest this set has been for awhile if you were wanting this wheel.

I just bought the Thrustmaster T150 RS for $99 from the Gamestop deal, is this one much better for the extra $100?

Pedals on G29 are better but the force feedback on the T150 RS is better. When I had my G29, I did not like the gear driven FFB. Center deadzone, clunky/noisy over curbs.

My teenage son just broke his pedals on his thrustmaster ferrari 458 spider racing set for his Xbox. Anyone have recommendations for just pedals that could work with that? I have no clue what to buy without "braking" the bank. (Pun intended).

It's much better, as it gives you a clutch to use with your paddle shifter, and the 6 speed shifter is about $55.00 if you should ever want one. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G...7132&psc=1

The thrustmaster shifter is a better build, but cost $160+ should you ever want one.

But if you say I'll never use the shifter...T150 is fine. A lot of people say they will never use a shifter and then they look to upgrade.

How is it compatible with Windows and PS5, but not Xbox? Seems like they chose to not make it universal.

If I could use it for GT7 and then Forza, they'd have a sale.

There is a separate model for Xbox. It's the G920. Essentially the same thing with identical mechanics. Also same price right now on Amazon.

100% viable. and cheaper to get you started correctly than the thrustmaster line. I prefer thrustmaster, but I was able to catch my wheels for great prices. The thrustmaster shifter alone costs almost as much as this g29 sale price.
