Had the S7 (S7+) for about 6 months. Upgraded from the S5. The mapping software is great. I have it clean a 2,200 all tile house with no issues of getting lost. The mopping feature is better then most of there. It's vibration does a decent job scrubbing. I was impressed. Just make sure you change the mopping pads every so often if you are doing a large house at one time.
The self emptying dock is well worth the additional price. That's the only difference between the S7 and S7+. You can buy that separate though.

Yes.. the 10% was showing up in my account the one that is good until tomorrow. The 20% is the student offer that I had to enter verification info to have it show up.
Anyone have one and can speak to effectiveness of the mop?? Of course the mop in every earlier model is junk. Is this one any good?
I've only ever had this robot mop, and don't have kids or dogs, but I do have a cat that has tear duct seepage. He gets marks on the floor around his food dish. This mop cleaned them all up in one pass, so it impressed me, but those are pretty easy to wipe up by hand.
The lifting feature is nice, I have only short pile rugs but they never get wet when the mop is attached.
For hardwood floors would you get one that has the mop/vacuum combo? Or just get a regular vaccum one. Asking for my family they have two cats. And was debating between a roborock and one of the the sharks on sale at amz.
Thanks

Hoping to get rid of the Tineco we never used and just keep this with a wet swiffer for touchups...but never felt like the S6 Pure did a great mopping job. Do you feel this is sufficient (with a little elbow grease for tough spots) or is a large wet floor vacum or mopping necessary regardless?
The S7 will never replace mopping and vacuuming by hand but in our experience it's GREATLY extended the amount of time we need to do manual cleaning. We have a large household including 6 people and 2 large, hairy dogs and having the S7's cover the whole house every two days has done wonders. We probably only vacuum and mop every two weeks and wash the carpets every other month at this point and the house still feels clean. I do keep up with the maintenance on the robots though, scrubbing the mops in the sink every 1-2 weeks depending on the time of year and dirt traffic, as well as pulling them apart and cleaning out hair and debris, but all that takes <10 minutes. My old school mother was so impressed when she saw the work she's got one for herself, and this is a woman who kept a floor so spotless you could eat off of it when we were growing up, lol.

Definitely get the S7 or better. The ultrasonic mopping is a game changer, especially if you have pets. We have mostly hardwood floors with area rugs and the S7 does so well with everything. We do have a Dyson stick model for really getting into the rugs and doing stairs though, but it's a great combo that keeps everything clean very efficiently/quickly.

Have it, hate it, wish I never would have bought it. Mapping feature works great, mopping feature is garbage. Will leave streaks, requires you to constantly replace the mop pad and fill the water. Suction is ok on the vacuum itself but nothing special. Stay away IMO.

Thanks - this is exactly what I felt, but right now in 800 sq feet only with 2 people / 1 dog and just kept thiking if the Roborock did a better job on the floors, I could get rid of my Tineco and just use either the wet swiffer or a hand wash for the highest traffic spots and spot cleaning. Right now we have the Tineco, Roborock, Swiffer stuff and are still doing some stuff by hand - it just seems like a lot for a small apt. May bite the bullet and get the S7, sell the Tineco and see if that + swiffer + hand is enough. Thanks!
