Not sure how coffee could come out at 200C when water boils at 100C. I think it would just be steam and you'd probably have a bad time trying to drink it.

I bought this in 2017 for $54 and it is still working as wel as it was then. It is a solid coffee maker but it has one downside. The single serve side soits droplets of coffee out, no matter how tell your mug is. If you just wipe doen the counter or wall it the coffee maker surrounds, it is fine. It is a small downside for a solid product. More people have commented on the spitting in the reviews.

Does the coffee come out hot (like around 200°C)? I find that some of these cheaper coffee makers don't boil the water to the right temp and your extraction is subpar, leading to "watery" keurig-like coffee.

I comes very hot! I can't drink it right after it finishes, have to wait a little before I can sip. Really good coffee machine. At home we drink different coffee so my wife makes a pot for her and I use the single serve since I drink just a cup a day. Hope it helps!

Do you like creamer with your lava?

I can't comment on this one but I had a Melita which was a rebranded HB and the coffee while hot wasn't as hot as the Ninja I replaced it with. I would also say the coffee tasted bland compared to the Ninja. The Melita died all of sudden and I suspect it was the controller board as the thermal sensor and fuses were all testing good.

I've been using this coffee maker daily for about a year or so. My biggest beef with it is that the Teflon coating on the burner plate started wearing off almost immediately. It still works fine but the plate is now all rusty and looks like crap.

We also have really liked this machine. After going through a curve almost yearly, we bought this one at Costco for 80 bucks and it's been terrific. At this price it's an absolute steal.

We've had this coffee maker for a year. It makes a great pot of coffee, but I wouldn't recommend using the single-serve function. For whatever reason, it just doesn't taste the same. Numerous reviews on Amazon reflect this as well. Definitely a good deal for a quality coffee maker, but don't expect to get your best cup of coffee from the single-serve function.

I gather you mean 200°F... I have this machine but have only used the single-serve side. It makes good coffee but it doesn't come out hot enough, especially if you want to add milk or creamer. Definitely not 200; probably not even 185.
Can't comment on the carafe side though...

Got this exact model for $36.99 in 2019. Not the slickest deal here, but it's a great coffee maker and I've had no issues with it.
