It's a total preference but I can plug in a Roku into an Android tv, but there's no Android plug in device into a Roku TV.
I like to keep my options open but I'm mostly using this for sports and gaming
Read somewhere of Google advertisement or promotions running for a minute or longer with no option to skip, specific to Google model but not Roku
Have you come across, thoughts ?

Just got back from Philly and missed out on some awesome TV deals.
edit: remember why I didn't buy this, even though it gets great reviews for video gaming it doesn't have vrr which is a huge deal breaker for some
I mean yeah return is a bit shorter than others but like cons?

I used to love Best buy and they were one of the better companies but they're customer service phone is trash, they only give you 14 days, and they offer the same products to everybody else and everybody price matches anyway
The points don't do anything so just no real reason to buy from them

Honestly I've watched two movies and 4 years I'm just not a TV guy.
But I've never heard of a plug-in Android device that gives you Android apps into a TV. Maybe you could stream it from your laptop but that would be a multi-step process.
I have an Android Sony and it runs great, if you're a Roku person that's fine, but why limit yourself when you can get an Android TV and then plug your Roku into that TV? If you're that big into media.
Xfinity stream app basically gives you but you would have with a TV and cable box and that's all I will ever need.
Sure I wake up with a bunch of notifications telling me I'm dumb
