This is apparently fairly new [club386.com]. None of the reviews on Amazon are relevant to this Vulcan Z model. Anyone have insight?

Seems like a decent deal for a cheap SSD. From what I gather it has SLC cache, not DRAM. Impossible to find any specs on what's actually inside, though. I certainly wouldn't use it to store anything important.

Agreed. Seems like a decent alternative as a secondary drive to store hoards of games on (if data loss, redownload, etc). 3-year warranty and little chances of regular users hitting the TBW limits within 3 years.

FYI: this is a dram-less SSD with a QLC cell. Which means lower speed + higher failure rate.

It says in the product description that is is TLC. Are they lying? From product page:

"TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 2TB SLC Cache 3D NAND TLC 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive SSD"
