I wonder how many buyung these power stations are using them every day to get their moneys worth? Are you using one every day? I bought one to use for road trips to power our 12v fridge and to charge personal devices , for car camping, and rolling blackouts here in California. What comparable LiFePO4 power station on the market can one get for the same price? I'd like to get one of those too.
Remember, these can act as UPS and some people buy socket timers so it charges during off peak and uses the battery during high peak. It means you can use it everyday. There are many other creative ways so you can use it more often not just camping.

"KIT" has controller. I have been using this type of setup for the last 10 years. Suits my needs perfectly. I have never been without power(TV, Furnace, lights, laptop, ....) I did purchase a $15 USB/12volt/ gauge setup Wink . Amazon.com : HQST 100 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Panel Kit with 10A PWM Charge Controller, Z Bracket, 20FT 12AWG Cable,8Ft 10AWG Tray Cable : Patio, Lawn & Garden [amazon.com]

You will still need solar charge controller, a DC to USB to charge your USB devices. Add another for AC charge controller if you want to charge it using the grid. Then you'll end up paying $200. Not to mention, Deep cycle batteries are heavy and can only be used 50% of their capacity to preserve longevity otherwise, you'll end up sulfating it.

If you want to spend $200 anyways, then just get this. https://slickdeals.net/f/15917350-bluetti-eb3a-portable-power-station-209

We have a Samsung Bespoke freezer. If we want to power it for 1 day with any power outage, is the River + Battery enough?

That's a great point, makes me think if I can use mine to leverage my time of use electric rates as well.

If you are planning on doing a full charge/discharge once a day for 3 years, this isn't the right product for you.
Agree. Should get a gas generator. You can run it till the gas tank empty and refill it to full. Much more practical.

"Generator"

Should be called a big battery pack, these dont generate power, they simply store it.
Agree. Calling it "Generator" is like calling it a horse or an Apple or an Umbrella. Just wrong.

The 1440wh version might be enough. You can use a kill-a-watt to measure how much electricity your freezer uses a day.

Another factor is the starting power requirement. Freezers draw a higher surge power when the compressor kicks in. You want to make sure the power station can handle it.

Get a LiFePO4, not worth spending several hundred bucks on something that lasts maybe 3 years.
The cycle performance is more of an issue for the smaller power stations than the larger ones, as you are more likely to rack of cycles on smaller batteries than larger ones. Also, for a larger power station to be made with lithium phosphate would have serious impacts on mobility due to weight. Making the claim this larger power station will only last 3 yrs bc of the battery isn't accurate, way more likely to fail due to BMS or inverter.

and if you are fully discharging and charging this thing daily, day in day out, week after week etc...I don't think this would even be a good solution for you as there are better solutions to that type of usage scenario

Just adding my two cents

The river or delta have their advantages. I also have a gas generator. For short outages, I use the battery, powers my fridges and freezers for a day. If I need longer, I run my generator for the 2 hours it needs to FULLY charge the batteries giving me another day of usage. These require no maintenance, no oil changes, and are near silent. This allows me to conserve my fuel and instead of burning all my fuel in one day, I can now stretch out a 20lb propane tank to almost 2 weeks if need be.

I need something to run a 110 AC and a C-pap machine. In an emergency. Suggestions?

A lot of river owners use them for this purpose. It depends on which one you have and how much power it will consume. Turning off the heater and humidifier goes a long way. Additionally, using the DC output can extend the run times even longer.

So you recommend this setup the River Pro to maybe power freezer for about 1 day?

Yes. There is no such thing as generator even he sun.

The law of conservation of energy is applied to all.
Generation means, in this sense, the act of producing something. When you generate anything, you start with components or building blocks. But you use those inputs to output the product. In the case of gasoline powered electrical generators, the output is electricity. Batteries don't generate electricity, they store it. They may even condition or convert it from DC to AC, but to call them generators is akin to calling a water cooler a "water generator" because it dispenses water in a quantity or temperature that you desire.

Gasoline is where the energy is stored. It is like a Battery.

Sigh.. you guys really serious about not knowing this?

My 7 cu ft Danby upright freezer, that sits outside under my porch, uses about 600 to 700 watts per day. So the river can keep it running for almost a full day.
