Probably, but it's never that simple. The Air is soooo much lighter, has a longer battery life, and faster single core performance (for like 3 minutes until it starts to throttle). If mobility/battery isn't your top priority, the 14"Pro will pretty much beat it every other way.
Any cashback sites for Apple or Best Buy? IF B&H would price match, you could lower the price with no tax using their PayBoo card. Just thinking out loud how to get the price even lower. Otherwise, looks like Apple still the cheapest. Personally I have no use for a $150 Apple card, so by the time I sell it online, it's more of a push between Apple and Best Buy.

If you're looking at a 16/512 M2 air, spend the extra 150 and get this instead. The screen and speaker upgrade alone is worth it.

This is Best Buy's back to school sale and probably won't get any cheaper. For an even better deal look for an open box item. I snagged one for $1626.99 just now.
Edit: Price dropped by another $50 down to $1699 new. I believe Best Buy will refund you the difference if you are within the return period, for those that got it at $1749.

Do you get the full year Apple warranty with an open box item?
Any suggestion between the MacBook Pro 13" (M2 Chip - 2022 model) vs. MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro Chip - 2021 model)?
The latest one (2022) with M2 chip comes with a longer battery life and also Touch ID and is over $500 cheaper
The one from before (2021) with M1 Pro chip comes with a shorter battery life but much powerful processor although this is over $500 costly.
I would highly appreciate the advice

Depends on what you are using it for!
If you are doing heavy photo and video editing , go for M1 pro.

Air and 14inch Pro are like cat vs. tiger.

I have an order from Apple that is expected to ship tomorrow; otherwise, I'd probably jump on one of these if it wasn't for the Back to School promo.
