I did and even a couple posters in the Q&A says 100. But, unlike before, no place does it now say 100 and explicitly says "1."

If you get a 100, then great! .... but if you just get 1, you did not lose much. Heck, I might waste 16 cents myself. From at least one review with a photo, these are a bit rusted/corroded and maybe Amazon as the seller and shipper are dumping them.

PS: "Usually ships within 2 to 5 weeks." ... makes sense as probably from a recovered container off a boat that sank... lol

Dude, I overpaid $0.08 on my last order of 8 boxes (800 total, were $0.18 per 100).
Bummed out. I might not even count them out to make sure now.

We should buy these all and attempt to sell them back to the US Dept of Defense for $500,000 a washer. Given it's the military and our taxpayer dollars at work, I feel it's our obligation to test whether this loophole was actually fixed.

The review photo does not show rust or corrosion. It shows normal galvanized coating. Galvanized hardware is ugly, but it's actually more resistant to rust and corrosion than shiny zinc-plated hardware.

Galvanized and zinc-plated hardware are both coated with zinc. The galvanized coating, however, is much thicker.
