Just a heads up, according to reviews, it doesn't come with wet vac filter, just a filter for dry vac. Others also said suction was weak and vacuum is very loud.

FYI Ridgid shop vac vacuums are not covered by LSA. They are manufactured by a different company

edit: maybe only some vacuums? home Depot page has links that say lifetime. but when I bought mine it would not register for LSA. anyone an expert?
looks like separate program, but still a type of lifetime warranty just not LSA program

Techtronic makes, markets, and warranties Ridgid power tools under license from Emerson, the actual owner of the brand. It is only the Techtronic tools that have the LSA. (Note that the new Ridgid NEXT plug-in power tools are made by Delta and only have a 5 year warranty.)

These shop vacs are made, sold, and warranted by Emerson. They have a regular lifetime warranty through Emerson themselves. You can register them here (but I'm not sure it's necessary to since it's a normal warranty): https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/prod...gistration

Bought this recently. Kinda meh. No attachments except the wet dry one. Hence why it doesn't pick up as good. If had the 2" wide attachment... I have no doubt this would be a great shopvac.

Bought this back in February for $40. I agree that this is loud and first impression wasn't good with the low suction but it does a much better job once I attached the floor accessory, so I do agree using a nozzle may help. This 16gal model I recall has the same 5hp motor as the 12gal model. I bought the 12gal back in 2020 (also for $40) which I haven't even got to open yet but this one does come with accessories. I will open it this weekend and see if the extra accessories will help with the suction which I imagine it should.
