I know this is an old thread but just wanted to check if anyone here get 3% CB for Best Buy online purchases? Customer support said they don't know if it qualifies or not and the charge posted on my acct did not have the 3% CB tagged to it so I am guessing unfortunately it doesn't qualify but wanted to hear from others.

If I make a Target purchase online and have it shipped or pickup in store. I get 3% cashback. As long as it originates in an online order, you get 3% cashback. It's safe to assume that BestBuy would be the same.

You're right with your assumption. I just logged into my Amex account and the 3% showed up for my best buy online purchase. It didn't yesterday so I thought maybe it didn't count BB online for the CB but it actually did. Also, 3% showed up for the recent Dell offers in addition to their popular $50 off $100. Not bad.
A question about referral: I found a couple of referral links online and all of them are for $200 on $2000 spent within 6 months.
But Amex already has this offer on its website without the referral.
If I use a referral link, will both offers stack?
nope. they won't stack. looks like referrals have different offers. mine shows $250

Each friend can earn up to:
$250 Back

They can also EARN $100 BACK as a statement credit after they spend $2,000 in purchases on their new Card in the first 6 months of Card Membership. Your friend will be able to choose from all available American Express Personal and Business Card offers. No matter which Card they choose, you could earn a referral bonus.
I've the grandfather Amex Blue Cash. After $6,500 spend, get 5% on groceries/gas, no limit. Prior to $6,500 I think it's 1.5% and 1%.
I've lined my anniversary date pretty close to when I pay the big bills. This way I get to $6,500 spend faster and have more in the year for 5% cash back.
I just wish they didn't take away return and purchase protection. This plus CSR does it for me (mainly for priority pass).
States I'm not eligible for the welcome offer. Existing AmEx member. Anyone familiar with what I would need to do to get this promo? Do I have to wait a certain amount of time between opening cards to receive it?

Sounds like pop up jail. If so the solution may be more spending on your current card.
is this one of the first general 3% shots fired? i remember when 2% was the target and fidelity led the way.
still not as good as my credit card which is 3% on everything, everywhere, unlimited. i spend 80% of my purchases online so this deal would be ok if i didn't have u.s. alliance
What card is this? The link does not lead to anything... I haven't heard of a card that gives a flat 3% back on everything... Is there a referral bonus? If so, I would like to be referred
Just an FYI.. if you add this card to your walmart account and then use Walmart Pay when checking out in store; you get 3% back. It considers the transaction as online. It's an awesome little hack

priority pass is shit in the us now due to most lounges leaving priority pass. amex plat is the way to go for lounges.
come over to usalliance.org where the 3% card doesn't care about mcc codes. they are not trying to cheat you or be deceptive. you get 3% on every single purchase whether its at mcdonalds, walmart.com, or your library fees. everything. from today until whenever they're done. you can spend $3 or $300 or $30,000....no cap, no limits. the only time i visit my online account is every quarter to apply my $$$ as a statement credit. it's the only true 3% cb card.
The SoFi MC credit card is the same, 3% on any purchase.
