Oh no. Because you have or have had the Blue Cash Everyday® Card, the Cash Magnet® Card, the Blue Cash Preferred® Card, the Morgan Stanley Blue Cash Preferred® American Express Card or previous versions of these Cards, you are not eligible to receive the welcome offer, intro APRs, and intro plan fees.
You need to spend at least $3200 on groceries a year to break even on the Preferred card's fee. But at that breakeven point, any online shopping tilts back toward the Everyday card. You really need to max out the $6k at 6% to make the card worth owning. If you do that, then the Everyday card becomes a better deal at $4k in online shopping. Which I feel like many people will hit easily. The 6% Streaming and 3% transit (Uber/bus/train) on preferred could be the tie-breaker if you are close.
If you go beyond $6k grocery, Discover usually has a quarter with 5% groceries to help make it go farther.
I personally dropped from the Preferred to the Everyday when they added the 3% online retail, as the math worked way better for us there.
Does online Walmart purchases count as 3%. Like non - grocery from Walmart. Com

Yes. I just checked my statement from last month and I had a Walmart.com purchase that gave 3% back. If I shop Walmart in person it is always 1%, even if it is groceries.
I'm seeing deals for AMEX clients from time to time on SD. Does it matter what kind of AMEX card do you have to be eligible or every AMEX card, including Blue Cash Everyday, would work?

Time to step up your game and get the metal Black Card. Think of the Naughty looks you'll get then.
Where do you see 250?
I'm wondering the same. Can I pay my taxes online, paying the 2% fee, and give me 3% cash back?

I just got $250 back, signed up a few weeks ago and bought airline tickets.
